The Malaysian Ministry of Transport (MOT) has mandated the phased installation and enforcement of Speed Limiter Device (SLD) an heavy commercial vehicles, starting October 1, 2025. The regulation targets goods vehicles over 3,500 kg and passenger vehicle (busses) over 5,000 kg, capping maximum speed at 90 km/h to reduce accidents.
